Lakers win 12 straight
Glen Lake boys basketball earned wins over Leland and Benzie Central Friday and Tuesday.
The Lakers defeated Benzie 65-44 to earn its 12th straight win.
Glen Lake junior Jacob Plamondon had 17 points, followed by Toby Bradford with 11 points and Isaac Hlavka with nine points, four rebounds, and three assists.
On Friday, Glen Lake defeated Leland 64-19.
The Lakers were led by Plamondon with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and Keaton Lacross with 12 points, 12 rebounds. Glen Lake senior Benji Allen had 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists; 6 points; Michael Houtteman 6 points; Isaac Hlavka 5 points, 3 rebound; Gabe Hazelton 4 assists; Toby Bradford 5 points.
Lake Leelanau St. Mary held off TC Bulldogs Tuesday 37-24 as Luke Bramer led the effort with 11 points and eight rebounds. The eagles travel to Grand Traverse Academy Friday.
Suttons Bay fell to Benzie central and Onekama, while picking up a huge win against Frankfort Monday.
The Norsemen defeated Frankfort 47-40 Monday as Suttons Bay was led by Urijah TwoCrow 18 points, 4 steals, 5 assists; Zachariah Raphael 13 points, 10 rebounds; Grayson Opie 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals.
Suttons Bay lost to Benzie 53-38 and Onekama 43-41.
