Suttons Bay has been on a tear over the past week as the Norsemen defeated Boyne Falls and Buckley over the past week.
The Norsemen defeated Boyne Falls 81-7 during senior night Tuesday.
Suttons Bay senior Isaiah McGrath led the way with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Senior Austin Vang had 10 points and 14 steals and senior Connor Sahs had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Senior Niko Franco also had 9 points and 2 steals Suttons Bay (10-11) will play Lake Leelanau St. Mary’s on Friday night. It will also be the inaugural hall of fame induction night for Dwaun Anderson and Todd Hursey, starting at 6:45 p.m.
The Norsemen avenged an earlier season loss against Buckley 42-26 Friday.
Suttons Bay was led by Zachariah Raphael with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks; Grayson Opie 11 points, 10 rebounds, 1 block; Austin Vang 8 points, 7 assists, 3 steals.
Buckley’s Landon Kulawiak had 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Lake Leelanau St. Mary fell to Buckley 42-37 Tuesday.
The Eagles were led by James Bunek 14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals; Oliver Mitchell 9 points, 3 rebounds; Luke Bramer 6 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists; Josh Bunek 8 points, 5 rebounds.
St. Mary also defeated Grand Traverse Academy 48-38 Bramer had 13 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists; James Bunek 13 points, 2 assists, 4 steals; Oliver Mitchell 16 points, 2 rebounds.
Lake Leelanau St. Mary is currently ranked 14th in Div. 4 and will have a tough test against Glen Lake today.
