Nearly 821 people attended the Glen Arbor chili festival at Bonnedocks. The winter festivities raised over $10,000, which will be used for donations at Glen Lake Schools, Empire Food Pantry, and Father Fred.

“We would like to say thank you to all who participated by either bringing a chili or by attending the event. Thank you to Maggie, Kimmer, Bill, Dottie, Captain Bob, the Glen Lake student volunteers and especially to the staff at Boonedocks who have made this event happen for the past 26 years,” Stephanie Ewing said.

Mark DeKorne and Jay Ofield of Lucky 7’ Chili were the first overall winners, followed by Tyler Broad in second place, and Paul Rikli of Boonedocks finished third.
