Npt. students attend honors event

Four members of the Northport Advanced Band attended the MSBOA’s (Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association) Middle School Honors Band event which was held at Kalkaska High School on March 11. Thirty Michigan schools were represented and each school brought four students. 120 middle school musicians learned six tunes throughout the day and performed a concert for family and friends that evening. They worked with professional musicians and band directors.
