The Glen Arbor township board has proposed a recommended expenditure budget of $704,983.80, which includes four township officer salary raises, and expects $658,950 in revenue for the 2025-26 fiscal year that would be approved at the end of the month.
Property tax revenue is expected to have a slight uptick of 6.7%.
The ordinary budget expenditures are down by over $50,000, compared to the previous fiscal year, along with a 1.2% estimated decrease to revenue. Despite expecting a dip in money coming into the town, township supervisor, Tom Laureto, said that there is plenty of cushion within the income budget.
