The third annual Maple Sugaring Days happened Saturday at the Dune Climb after a cancellation at the end of February and a cold snap over the past few days resulted in the change of scenery.

Nevertheless, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (SBDNL) and Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear put on an informative day of maple syrup activities.

Cold temperatures in the high teens, resulted in the location change from Port Oneida to the Dune Climb.
