Several local boys and girls basketball players found themselves on the 2024-25 Northwest Conference basketball all-conference teams.
Glen Lake junior Jacob Plamondon and Benji Allen made the boys first team, while Suttons Bay sophomore Zachariah Raphael also made the team.
Suttons Bay senior Grayson Opie and Glen Lake senior Michael Houtteman made the second team for their remarkable play.
Adrian Spencer and Brady Keen of Leland were honorable mention. Glen Lake senior Isaac Hlavka was also listed, and Sutton Bay senior Urijah TwoCrow earned the honor.
For the girls, Leland senior Elli Miller was the only local athlete to make the first team in the NWC.
Glen Lake sophomore Lydia Fosmore, junior Jessie Pugh, and Leland junior Ella Knudsen made the second team for the Comets.
Avery Flores (Glen Lake), Lorna Wiesen (Leland), Brooke Wilson (Suttons Bay), and Ada Wetherbee earned honorable mention recognition.
