A weekly class tailored specifi cally for individuals with Parkinson’s disease meets Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Traverse City Central YMCA.
The program focuses on improving flexibility, strength, coordination, and cardiovascular health. It incorporates PWR! Moves and engaging boxing drills, all designed to address the unique symptoms of Parkinson’s.
Above all, the class is structured to be fun, motivating, and uplifting, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all participants.
Participants are encouraged to grab a pair of boxing gloves (if available) and join the group for the free class, facilitated in collaboration with the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
