No salary increases were sought and none awarded Saturday at the annual meeting of Centerville Township inhabitants.

Both revenue and expenses were down from the 2024 spending plan, adopted during a special meeting following the annual meeting.

The 2025-26 budget, which goes into effect April 1, calls for $648,377 in revenue, down $10,780 from the current year.

Expenses are also down from one year to the next by $11,629, which puts the total at $644,061.

Fire and rescue services are the largest expense for the township annually. This year, they department has identified $346,045 for operations and $28,069 for capital (equipment) expenses.

No salary resolutions were presented or approved by the township board meaning that salaries approved in last year’s budget — some $5,800. As such, salaries for board members will remain: supervisor, $13,000; clerk, $20,000 and treasurer, $19,000.
