***

I think almost everyone is getting tired of winter, although we have had a few nice days, it has been the usual spring in the north. Sunny days, cloudy days, snow, rain and every day is an adventure and of course the three B’s, (bears be back). Happy spring in the North.

The winners of the 2025 United Methodist Church Chili Cook-off, First place Bill Lustig, second place. Pastor Melody Olin and third place Jeanette Stepanek. All the chili was great.

Another reminder, the Community Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday April 19, at the Lions Club Park,(Johnson Park) starting at 11 a.m. Bring your own basket.

The plows were out again, although it rained more than snow.

I hope everyone was careful on April 1.

A quote from a very wise intelligent leader, Winston Churchill, “Some men change their party for the sake of their principles; others their principles for the sake of their party.”
