As the snow melts and the days grow longer, Green Suttons Bay welcome a new season of growth, renewal, and sustainability in Suttons Bay.
Green Suttons Bay has a plethora of community events that is hoping to make the town greener and more sustainable.
April 11, Green Suttons Bay hosted children and their families to a Friday Fun night exploring worms and composting.
Tuesday, April 22, at 2 p.m. there will be a plastics reduction task force meeting focusing on initiative to reduce plastic in the village. The meeting will be held in the lower level of the Suttons Bay-Bingham District Library.
The following day, Wednesday, April 23, the group will meet at 10 a.m. at North Park to remove wrapping from the trees planted in October 2024.
On Monday, May 5, at 5 p.m. there will be a show up/pick up event in the village. Participants will meet at Water Wheel Park.
And on Monday, May 19, there will be a cleanup of the village rain gardens. Participants will meet at the corner of M-22 and Madison Street.
