The Leelanau Conservancy has several events in celebration of Earth Week.
The events began Tuesday with a staff-led hike at Palmer Woods Forest Preserve.
A tree planting and Natural Area Clean Up is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Chippewa Run Natural Area in Empire.
That evening, from 3 to 5 p.m., Tandem Ciders in Suttons Bay Township will host a Happy Hour Hang Out with Conservancy staff.
Saturday at 10 a.m. a docentguided hike will take place at the Houdek Dunes Natural Area, between Leland and Northport.
And Sunday at 2 p.m. there will be a LC Collection Hike at the DeYoung Natural Area in Elmwood Township.
