Battle of the Books, sponsored by the National Writers Series in Traverse City, is a quiz based book competition geared towards fourth and fifth grade students in the Grand Traverse region. The years’ competition took place on April 12th. St. Mary School students competed and were coached my faculty member, Carol Brinks and parent Karla Beman.
