The birth of Christ is a beautiful, unifying moment in the history of Christianity. The humble beginning of Jesus’ birth is a story that touches our hearts. Celebrate a reflective moment after Jesus’ birth and bring peace and joy to our community that extends well after Christmas Day.
There are many talented builders, artisans, and farmers in our community. There is goodness in people coming together and contributing their talents for a common goal; something bigger than ourselves.
Sarah Morio, a St. Mary parishioner and event organizer said, “We rely on each other, trust each other and God to make this happen. I see it in my own family as we prepare our small flock of Shetland sheep and build a life-size stable to support this event. I see it in the work of those who are organizing hot chocolate, donating costumes, time and resources, as well as those helping to support our large nativity cast of over 20 St. Mary School students.”
