Caitlin Watkins, a seasoned Reiki Master in two lineages is thrilled to announce the grand opening of her new Reiki studio, The Healing Hut, located on the river in The Leland Building (behind Trish’s Dishes).
Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a Japanese healing art that channels energy through touch and intention. Reiki reduces tension, stress, and pain and promotes overall wellness. Reiki soothes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances.
After nine years providing Reiki sessions and classes in Traverse City under the banner of Grand Traverse Reiki, Watkins is excited to return to the county and share her healing expertise with the Leelanau community. “The Leland Building holds special significance for me, as it’s the same building where my grandfather worked for many decades. The energy feels just right for healing,” she said. “My goal is for The Healing Hut to allow the people of Leelanau County to experience the benefits of Reiki and learn more about their own innate healing abilities.”
