He is Risen

To the editor:

There is much unrest and turmoil in our community these days, yet each and every day is a new day to find joy as we live together in Leelanau County a truly beautiful part of God’s Creation.

The First Easter Sunday was the completion of God’s Promise as recorded in Genesis 3 given to Adam and Eve through the Resurrection of Christ Jesus Christians gather to worship during Holy Week, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday, with Easter Sunday rejoicing and publicly confessing the freedom we have from death and the promise of eternity in Heaven with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The account of God’s promises and fulfillment through Christ Jesus’s birth, life, death and resurrection is found in The Bible.

If you’re not familiar with Him, find Him there in the Words of Scripture, and join those who confess Christ in Word and Sacrament.

A brief introduction to Christ Jesus is found on Page 1, Section 2 Faith & Family, Leelanau Enterprise, April 17, 2025, “True Humility is Found in Christ,” as outlined by Pastor Anderson, First Lutheran Church, Suttons Bay.

He is risen, risen indeed! Rob Franzo Leelanau Township
