Garlic mustard is on the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network Top 12 list of invasive species and presents a high risk to our regional ecology.
To assist Village residents in removing this plant from their yards and gardens (and maybe around the Village), the Village has rented a garlic mustard disposal bin for the season.
To remove garlic mustard, use gloves, pull from the root and place in a garbage bag.
