Wednesday, April 30

3:34 p.m. — Bingham Township — Neighbor came onto caller’s property and up to his door. Claims the property line is different and it’s creating a parking issue. Caller knows he needs to get a hold of a surveyor, but would like to speak to a deputy. (Officer spoke with caller regarding neighbor. Caller will be following up regarding property lines.)

4:38 p.m. — Bingham Township — Resident is a patient of an occupational therapist. Caller hears the phone ringing inside when he calls. Knocked on the door and called to anyone inside without any reply. Caller is concerned for welfare of patient. (Made contact with the patient in the driveway. She is OK.)

7:37 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller’s wife is harassing him. (Deputy spoke with both parties. Wife has been talked to about harassing behavior and has been trespassed from the caller’s address.)

9:11 p.m. — Empire Township — Subject has some health issues and the caller has not been able to reach her for 10 days. This is not normal and she usually answers on caller back quickly. (Officer made contact. She is doing fine and will return call tomorrow.)

Thursday, May 1

2:18 a.m. — Kasson Township

— Caller’s neighbor has been doing construction for the past week at all hours. Caller would like him to stop. They just had a verbal altercation. They do share an easement. (Parties spoken to. The person responsible for the noise is going to leave for the night.)

10:08 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller bought generator in December. Hasn’t ever worked. Company came out to fix it several times. They are now saying it is not worth their time. There is a lot of sand in it and there’s no way it could have gotten there if not deliberately. Caller wants to speak to a deputy about malicious destruction of property.

10:44 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller requests a radar trailer be place on Grandview Road near the TART trail crossing because with the speeding in this area from the construction, he is worried a biker will be hit.

4:17 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is following a driver swerving all over the road. Black Lexus.

5:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller’s oxygen concentrator is blinking and flashing.

6:14 p.m. — Leland Township — Black GMC truck hit a green reflector sign. Very little damage to his vehicle but not sure if he needs a report or who he needs to make restitution to for the reflector sign.

6:39 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Motor vehicle crash with injuries. St. Joseph and Race streets.

7:16 p.m. — Empire Township — Unmarked boat mooring sitting 400 feet in front of residence in about 3 1/2 feet of water. Caller almost hit it with his boat and would like marine patrol to check it out.

11:02 p.m. — Bingham Township — White SUV swerving all over the road. Speeding up and slowing down.

Friday, May 2

8:06 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Man approached the door and left something there. Would like it checked out. (Law enforcement checked the house. Nothing nefarious there.)

1:37 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Neighbor trouble.

6:34 p.m. — Kasson Township — Unattended fire. Cedar Fire responded and put out. Owner called.

8:55 p.m. — Solon Township — Toyota Tundra repossessed.

11:36 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Trucks going up and down Maple City Road and burning out. Making a lot of noise.

Saturday, May 3

4:28 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Dogs in caller’s yard. Has pictures. Same dogs that have been in the Timberlee area multiple times.

9:43 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Possible illegal burn. Caller advised there is a strong odor and the people burning are leaving it unattended.

10:06 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle stopped at intersection. Black Chevy truck was driving extremely slow before and swerving all over the road.

10:47 p.m. — Leland Township — Possible underage drinking at a Leland home.

10:50 p.m. — Bingham Township — Suspicious vehicle. (Driver had permission to be there from owner.)

Sunday, May 4

11:48 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Man sitting on the side of the southbound lane holding his head. Thinks someone should check on him.

7:05 p.m. — Bingham Township — Family trouble. One in custody.

8:26 p.m. —Centerville Township — Domestic.

9:15 p.m. — Bingham Township — A couple of off road vehicles going up and down the road. One ATV and one dirt bike. Has been going on all afternoon.

Monday, May 5

9:02 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports a bite from a large French bulldog.

10:01 a.m. — Bingham Township — Fraudulent charge alert.

10:39 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller opened the defibrillator and an alarm sounded. It has been shut off but now the lights are still flashing and before it was opened it was beeping.

11:42 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller has been trying to reach a cousin for several days. (Caller called back. Cousin was reached.)

2:07 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Family trouble. Welfare check.

5:36 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller has trail cam footage of someone horseback riding on her property.

6:27 p.m. — Leland Township — Family trouble.

6:35 p.m. — Elmwood Township — German Shepherd mix and Husky mix at caller’s house.

6:41 p.m. — Solon Township — Red truck northbound on Lakeshore Drive from Schomberg, swerving.

9:33 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Threats complaint.

Tuesday, May 6

6:24 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Cedar Fire & Rescue received a call that a chicken coop burned down overnight. Will send someone to investigate.
