It is obvious that this is spring, the weather is lousy and every day is an adventure when going outside. Welcome home Snowbirds.
I understand that Restaurant Week in the Glen Arbor area was it’s usual success. I know we enjoyed it and I hope the Emergency Fund Concert held at Art’s also,was its usual success.
There will be a presentation “Saving the Barn,” a documentary about the Leelanau County Poor Farm which should be interesting to those unfamiliar with local history. It can be seen May 14 at the Old Art Building in Leland.
More history, the sixth annual memorial ceremony at the historic Glen Arbor Cemetery will be held at the cemetery on Friday May 23 at 10 a.m.
