If you encounter a fawn

If you encounter a fawn
If you encounter a fawn, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) advises to leave it alone and observe it from a safe distance. In most cases, the mother deer is nearby and will return to care for the fawn. It’s crucial to avoid touching or intervening with the fawn, as this could endanger its safety and potentially make its mother abandon it. Photo courtesy of Chuck Bondy
