A Leland couple will mark their 35th wedding anniversary Monday.
Leslie Elizabeth Machlin and William (Bill) James McCrory were married May 19, 1990 in Lexington, Kentucky.
“The honeymoon has been extended into year 36!,” Bill said.
The couple met while working for the same company in Chicago. Bill was sent to Leslie’s location to cover for her vacation.
The McCrorys retired five years ago in Leelanau County. Leslie worked as a marketing and management consultant in the food service industry. Bill worked in hospitality management and as a musician.
The couple has two children: William Maclin McCrory of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Carrie Elizabeth Maclin McCrory (Manuel Brown).
