Born February 2. 1926, in Traverse City, he was the son of Nicholas and Helen (Grohowski) Walters. On July 4, 1950, at Saint Francis Catholic Church in Traverse City, He married the love of life Anita Mae Petroskey.
He was a member and usher of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for over 60 years.
