The Glen Lake Library will host its annual “Ode to Asparagus” poetry reading at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 7 as part of the Empire Asparagus Festival lineup.
Participants should submit their asparagus-themed verse to the library via email ( [email protected].)
Poets are asked to include their name and contact information, and indicate if they’ll be attending the reading.
An Audience Choice award will be given to the most inspired reading.
