Thank you

To the editor:

At 75, the article by Mr Van Yandell brought back many memories of how I was raised. One difference, my father died at almost 95 in 2019, thus I had decades more years with him than Mr. Van Yandell had with his father. I still tear up thinking of the wonderful things I learned from dad. As the oldest, he went to work at age 14 to help feed the family of nine, WWII veteran, inventor, large equipment operator, then a businessman, farmer and lover of the land. Wonderful husband of almost 72 years to my mom, man of integrity for his daughters, grand kids and great grands, family patriarch and wonderful friend to many. We went to a little country church from as far back as I can remember and we learned about an active faith in the one true God.

Mr Van Yandell is right, “the benefits are so overwhelming I can’t list them.”
