– LETTERS OF FAITH –

I was on my way home from church and stopped by the cemetery which overlooks the farm where my mom and dad raised us six kids. I laid a yellow carnation on my mom’s tombstone. What great memories with special, loving parents. I know it was because of them and their teachings that all of us kids went on to have wonderful lives of our own. Although we have had many ups and downs and a few really bad times in our lives, I know it was my mother’s spiritual faith and unconditional love that got us all through it. THANK YOU MOM.

Being raised on the farm with great parents teaching me Faith and values like hard work is why I went on to become an over-the-road truck driver, traveling all over these beautiful United States for 52+ years and covering five million safe miles! I got to see the beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean and the sunset over the Pacific Ocean along with a full smiling moon over the rest of the country at night. Thanks again Mom and Dad.

Speaking for the entire family, I know you are with God and family & friends. We were incredibly blessed having you both on this earth for 90 years. Until we are reunited, may you rest in peace Mom and Dad. You deserve it!
