The Leelanau Children’s Center’s 28th Annual Golf Scramble once again demonstrated that community support runs deep.
Held on Wednesday, May 21, the event attracted a full field of 80 golfers competing for prizes while raising over $12,000 for the Center’s Financial Aid Program. Community spirit shone brightly, despite cool temperatures and a light rain shower, as participants embraced the day with enthusiasm and friendly competition.
The winning team of Crosley Duckman, Bren Fries, Jamie Olsen, and Randy Woods claimed the top prize — a trophy crafted by the children at Leelanau Children’s Center, with Randy Woods stating that “I still cherish the trophy I won several years ago.”
