Wednesday, May 21

8:35 a.m. — Centerville Township — Pit mix came of its property and barked at caller while caller was with his dog. Ongoing problem.

8:51 a.m. — Centerville Township — Blue Subaru Impreza. Mechanical failure caused loss of control and ended up in the ditch.

10:35 a.m.— Bingham Township — Someone dumped dog feces on caller’s yard within the last 10 minutes. Suspect, female,walked back down to the lake after confrontation.

3:53 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller would like to register a complaint about a local farmer burning fruit (trees). Makes it difficult for him to breathe and he can’t go outside. (Caller was advised there is nothing illegal about burning on private property if there is no burn ban in place.)

Thursday, May 22

7:08 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Domestic. (Per deputy, subject who was there is no longer there.)

9:26 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller would like to have subject trespassed from property.

12:31 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Individual not showing up for work. (No response from knocking. Can hear television on. Open door. No one inside.)

2:24 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller received a post card with a number on it to call for a medical alert pendent. She is concerned that the company has taken money from her.

8:10 p.m. —Solon Township — Possible intoxicated driver in a white Jeep headed westbound on M-72 past Co. Rd. 651.

Friday, May 23

7:48 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Park Service called out with a white Ram camper van.

9:45 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller owns property at this location. Brother is removing items from the property.

11:04 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Pigs in the caller’s back lot for the last two day.

12:59 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Old friends from Bay City are harassing the caller via phone.

4:37 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Disgruntled male customer. Caller would like him trespassed from the store. (Individual has been trespassed.)

5:15 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighborhood boy is riding an ORV up and down the road. Seems to be trying to harass the caller. He sops directly in front of the caller’s house and revs the engine.

7:11 p.m. — Leland Township — Blue Dodge Ram with open bed with guardrails. A 13 yearold boy leaning on the rails.

8:40 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Two dirt bikes riding on Sugar Loaf Mountain.

9:13 p.m. — Cleveland Township — White Audi eastbound near Little Traverse Lake. Passed caller at a high rate of speed, crossed double-yellow in front of another vehicle.

Saturday, May 24

9:04 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller had someone call him who said he needed a bike. Asked if he did payment plans. He picked the bike up with a promises of payment. But, then blocked the caller’s number and hasn’t paid the caller.

1:38 p.m. — Empire Township — Three people just came up the road on minibikes. Congregating at the end of the cul-de-sac and then left and are on M-72. Caller saw them earlier in Glen Arbor. Some kind of minibike. Caller doesn’t like how loud they are.

2:53 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller wants to make sure the boat he just purchased on Facebook Marketplace isn’t stolen.

6:10 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller saw an airplane land on the beach near the piping plovers. It didn’t crash. But caller doesn’t know how they will get out of there. Single wing. Two people have gotten out.

7:35 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller is reporting dirt bikes riding. Being a nuisance. Revving it up and trespassing in the campground. Tearing up grass. They are not guests.

7:51 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller reports four kids with motorcycles/dirt bike that comes down Lake Street at 65 to 75 mph. Last time they came through was about 10 minutes ago. Been through three to four time in the past hour.

8:48 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Motorbikes on Sugar Loaf. (There were two different groups of people. The dirt bikers who took off and the group who identified themselves, who were hiking to see the sunset.)

9:39 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller concerned about neighbor’s dog. Currently tied up outside in a confined area. Barking. Ongoing issue.

10:59 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Underage drinking. (Parents are being called and the party is being broken up. Sounds like there is a juvenile lost in the woods. Made contact with family. Subject is not home. The family has been notified and asked to advise to dispatch if she returns. Juvenile has been located. She is with her parents.)

Sunday, May 25

12:14 a.m. — Elmwood Township — White Hyundai northbound on M-22 all over roadway, hitting brakes.

9:19 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — House directly south of the caller is a rental. But there has been a U-Haul parked there for over a week. Today caller saw a male put a small box inside.

9:45 a.m. — Empire Township — Motorbikes/mini-bikes have damaged caller’s property and were asked to leave. They are racing through the property. Caller can hear them down the road and they have been told not to come on the property. Ongoing issue with this caller and another neighbor in the area complaining about the noise.

1:46 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Four-year-old with scooter standing by he road by herself. There is another twowheeler bike and two scooters. She said her people went into the woods. Another little girl came out of the woods. The girls said they were going to go home and get their dad so they left down the road. But they haven’t returned and no one else has come out of the woods. (Caller called back. The other girls came out of the woods and she is walking them back to their house.)

2:44 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Four or five dirt bikes speeding through the area behind the Glen Lake Public Safety Building.

6:24 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Park ranger with camper van in Port Oneida.

9:25 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Anonymous male in Traverse City advises his exgirlfriend may have been drinking and is heading up M-22 to Suttons Bay or Northport.

Monday, May 26

6:30 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Park Service on Alligator Hill with two vehicles that look like they were there overnight.

12:09 p.m.— Glen Arbor Township — Park Service checking on subjects illegally camping at the Little Glen Lake Picnic Area.

1:10 p.m. — Solon Township — Property owners next door. Caller asked worker not to walk on her property or allow contracts that area there. Says two contractors are on her property now and she doesn’t want to deal with them.

1:24 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller says neighbor is building a fence on his property. On arrival deputy can see crew working on a fence. (After talking with the caller, he was informed that it is a civil matter and to contact an attorney.)

7:05 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Manager said they had a woman walk in who said she had walked from Traverse City. She is acting sketchy and says she wants food and is afraid of her boyfriend. Is asking staff members for a ride or saying she wants to walk to Empire.

11:44 p.m. — Bingham Township — Female neighbor came over and said her boyfriend hit her and choked her.
