To the editor:
Because Cherryland is a cooperative, customers are fortunate in that we can elect board members. Ideal candidates would be forward-thinking, open-minded, and capable of understanding the complex engineering, economic, and policy dimensions of energy supply. Reliability, affordability, and environmental impact should be priorities. James Dyer has the perfect combination of experience in local government, including oversight of municipal utilities for the City of Marshall, legal training, and a history of engagement with various non-profits. We are fortunate to have such a qualified person who is willing to serve on the board. Online voting closes at noon on June 11th.
