“With each step we change, we didn’t just move, we grew. Today we take another step, a big one,” said Leland graduate Ella Knudsen. “Over the past 13 years, we have had plenty of opportunities to embrace the uncomfortable, to try something new, to fall, and get back up.”
Leland, Glen Lake, Lake Leelanau St. Mary, and Suttons Bay all had graduations commence Friday and Sunday.
Some 150 in-seat students and another 45 virtual students will conclude their high school careers with ceremonies scheduled over the next two weekends.
