To the editor:
I read with grim amusement County Administrator Jim Dyer’s quote in the paper: “I know about setting rates … My decisions will be based on sustainability.”
Guess what folks! Sustainability is a green energy zealot buzzword for energy that is expensive, unreliable, and environmentally harmful. A responsible administrator would base rate decisions on reliability, durability, and costeffectiveness. It seems like Mr. Dyer is another Green energy acolyte seeking to carry on his crusade against climate change using someone else’s money. In other words, your money. Personally, I like cheap, reliable, and environmentally sound Cherryland electric power. If you agree, please vote for Melinda Lautner for the Cherryland Electric board.
