GL’s Houtteman putts his way into the history book
A storybook ending happened for Glen Lake senior Michael Houtteman at the Div. 4 boys golf state championship Friday and Saturday, as Houtteman shot an outstanding 4-under par 36-hole score of 138 on the Katke Course at Ferris State University to win a state championship.
“It was a great feeling, something I’ve been striving for for four years now,” Houtteman said.
