With summer in full swing and warm temperatures finally here, home owners looking to find help with various outdoor jobs this season need not look further. Cedar resident Brayden Popa and his friend, Aiden Griffis, offer a number of outdoor/ lawn services ranging from everything like mowing, edging, weed pulling, to junk removal, power washing, and just about any other job that needs to be done outside.

Popa and Aiden, both 18, just graduated from Traverse City West Senior High School, and have been running a small business primarily centered around outdoor work for the past couple summers. The recent graduates have been good friends throughout high school and eventually decided they wanted to try out offering lawncare services to make some money. When they first started taking on jobs in the summer of their sophomore year, they went with the name “P&G Lawncare,” which stood for their last names Popa and Griffis. Typically Griffis will do the mowing jobs himself, while the jobs they do together are the mulching, weeding, and any other outdoor yard work requested.

Now with high school completed and summer just beginning, Popa said he wants to focus on lining up outdoor jobs in the coming months as he works to figure out what he wants to pursue next in life.
