Little Garden Club Garden Tour, June 26

Six gardens and plein air paintings of them are part of the Little Garden Club’s Garden Tour, June 26.

1. The Chetcuti-Anderson Garden

When the present owners bought this lovely lot on Northport Bay in 2015, they were acquiring a property that over many years had previously hosted an original log cabin, then another log house that had burned down 20 years earlier. With a mostly blank slate, they chose to build in 2017 a contemporary Danish hygge influenced home. Wanting to emphasize the surrounding natural beauty, they selected Betsy Ernst of Peninsula Perennials and Lennie Allgaier of Peninsula Pavers to help them layout and install the all season landscape they envisioned.
