Construction of river crossings commences Monday.
Permits have been cleared, and reconstruction of a pair of river crossings on CR-675 at M-22 for Monday, as well as the Tucker Lake Outlet, is scheduled to start in the fall, with renovations expected to last throughout the year.
The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Leelanau County Road Commission, Natural Resources Conservation Alliance, Grand Traverse Band, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore have all communicated for the project that has been in the works for the past seven years.
