County resident Ryan Goodrich of Traverse City has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout from Scouting of America.
Goodrich, a senior at Traverse City West Senior High, has been active in scouting since 2016. He started Cub Scouts at Pack 3764 in Thousand Oaks, California. He bridged to scouts in 2019 as a member Troop 761 became a member of Troop 34 when his family moved to Traverse City in 2021.
Ryan attended National Youth Leadership Training in 2022 and has served in several leadership roles in Troop 34, including Senior Patrol Leader. He has earned 23 merit badges.
