Several charter fishing boats celebrated veterans last Wednesday at Leland Harbor as dozens of service members gathered for an open-water fishing trip and a fish fry.
Roughly 60 veterans attended the fishing trip, which resulted in reports of a successful day, with several lake trout and cisco caught.
Jack Duffy, among other charters, took veterans out on the second bank of the Manitou Passage and immediately started hitting fish.
