Subject wanted for questioning

The Leelanau County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a subject of interest in incidents that took place on New Year’s Eve into the early hours of the newyearinNorthport. Heisa subject of interest in a malicious destruction of property complaint under investigation.

According to the Sheriff’s Office dispatch log, two related calls were made 13 minutes into the new year and another at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The first call reported a fight that began in a restaurant and carried out onto the street. The subject was yelling and disorderly.
