Discontinuance of Suttons Bay Virtual School is front and center in the district’s 2025-26 budget adopted this week.

Monday night the school board voted to adopt a new spending plan for the new budget year, which begins July 1.

The budget reflects an October announcement that the district will be going to “out-offormula” status as a result of location tax collections exceeding per pupil funding levels provided for the state.
