Misner contract extended

The Glen Lake Board of Education approved a 1-year contract extension for Jason Misner, whose first 3-year contract is set to expire in July.

Misner will be in his fourth year as Glen Lake superintendent during the 2025-26 school year.

The details of the contract remain the same, besides a 6% to 7% increase in retirement savings and a 1% increase in salary. Misner gets paid over $100,000 to lead Leelanau County’s largest school district.
