Kids Fishing Day did not disappoint

The weather was hot, but so was the fishing.

Kids Fishing Day, which celebrated its 20th birthday, has developed a reputation for family fun built on stocked bluegills in Veronica Valley County Park, art projects, friendly volunteers and sunny weather. It didn’t disappoint on Sunday, although a little less sun and its byproduct — heat — would have been appreciated by most.
