A 28-year-old Wisconsin man will serve from 5 1/2 to 10 years in prison in connection with an incident that occurred in August 2024.
Circuit Court Judge Kevin Elsenheimer sentenced Steven J. Lisowski of Saukville, Wisconsin after he pleaded guilty to five of nine charges levied against him in connection with an incident which took place Aug. 20 near Empire.
According to the police report, two days earlier deputies responded near Pierce Stocking Drive after the National Park Service came across a stolen vehicle, a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan, from a phone pin relayed by the Milwaukee Police Department.
