In classic “Up-North” tradition this Fourth of July will feature the beloved and wildly fun parades in both Glen Arbor and Leland.
The Glen Arbor parade kicks off at noon and will end at 2 p.m., just in time for anyone who wants to see both parades to get over to Leland for their parade starting at 3 p.m.
Due to a lack of adequate numbers of law enforcement available, the Glen Arbor parade will be using volunteers secured by the Glen Lake Chamber of Commerce to direct traffic around barricades. According to township clerk Pam Laureto, the County Road Commission will place a large truck across M-22 at Western Ave. and Ray St.
