Waterwheel Park in Suttons Bay reopens

Waterwheel Park in Suttons Bay has reopened after completion of work to restore a more natural flow to the creek.

Village officials gathered at the Park on Madison Street, cutting away the plastic fencing that protected the area immediately adjacent the creek.

“We have a 4-foot ‘no mow’ zone along the creek to allow the root system to get established,” Village Manager Rob Larrea said.
