Leelanau Christian Neighbors (LCN) has announced a significant expansion of its commitment to addressing the critical affordable housing shortage in Leelanau County with the purchase of two homes in Maple City.

These acquisitions will provide much-needed long-term rental opportunities at belowmarket rates for local residents.

This latest investment builds upon LCN’s successful entry into affordable housing with the purchase of a residential property in Lake Leelanau in 2024. The new Maple City properties include a two-bedroom, twobathroom home and a threebedroom, two-bathroom home, both intended for one-year longterm rentals. To ensure professional and compassionate management, HomeStretch Nonprofit Housing Corporation will oversee the properties, leveraging its expertise in affordable housing solutions.
