What does it mean to be patriotic?
For many, patriotism may manifest as adorning themselves in red, white, and blue for a parade, serving in and supporting the military, or dutifully reciting the pledge of allegiance each morning at school. Each of these are true and wonderful displays of love for our country.
Far too often in today’s world acts of nationalism are mistaken for acts of patriotism.
