The Glen Lake Library will host author and historian Christine Byron on Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m.
Byron will share her newly published book, “Perfect Omena Day: Selections from the summer diaries of Rebecca L. Richmond, 1907 to 1920.
Richmond’s diaries reflect cottage life in Leelanau County, noting daily activities, visits from friends and relatives, local events, observations of nature, and other interesting glimpses into past times.
