The nonprofit charged with restoring and repurposing the Leelanau County Poor Farm Barn is launching a new Friend Raising Campaign by hosting three free, public picnic concerts.

The Leelanau County Historic Preservation Society (LCHP. ORG) will host shows featuring country/folk, classic rock, and contemporary orchestral music on July 30, Aug. 6, and Aug. 13 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Concert goers are invited to bring their picnics, enjoy great music, tour the barn, play yard games, visit the Row-by-Row Garden, and take pictures with the restored, antique Model A Ford displayed by the Leelanau Historical Society.
