LGTBQ+ benefit concert set

The Folded Leaf, a Leelanau County Snuggery in Cedar, will host a special benefit concert on Friday, August 2 as a fundraiser for LGTBQ+ youth crisis intervention services.

The event is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Folded Leaf, 9044 S. Kasson St.

“We are incredibly passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for all youth, and particularly for the LGBTQ+ community, who often face unique challenges,” Rachel Zemanek, owner of The Folded Leaf said. “This benefit concert is our way of bringing the community together to enjoy great music, connect with one another, and make a tangible difference in the lives of young people who need our help the most.”
