OAB hosts largest fundraiser of year

The Old Art Building in Leland will host its largest fundraiser of the year next Friday from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

The 33rd Annual Art Leelanau Exhibition and Benefit is one of the highlights of Leland’s summer season, with attendees enjoying hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar on the front lawn of the 103-year-old historic arts and cultural center along with the OAB’s largest art show and art sale of the year. The 2025 exhibit will feature art from more than 85 artists with ties to Leelanau County.

“As a non-profit, the Old Art Building is fully funded by donations, sponsorships, and ticket sales,” says OAB Executive Director Sarah Mills. “Our annual operating budget is heavily dependent on the money raised during Art Leelanau, so it’s an extremely important event for us. And it’s wonderful to be able to provide not only an enjoyable evening for attendees, but to show our whole-hearted support of the incredible artists who participate in this show.”
