Mother Nature is a fickle Lady, she made an attempt to rain out the Empire Anchor Day festivities, but failed. The Lions Club Chicken Dinner was well attended in spite of the weather.
I’m not sure about the Anchor Day Parade, because we were working on chicken. But I am told that it went well, both times around. I also think the rain stopped in time for the street dance.
